The HunterValley Paddlesports Club has advised that they will be hosting the NSW Marathon Series Race on Saturday 2nd September 2023. The race will be held between the Teralba Bowling Club, the Five Islands Bridge and the railway bridge, with around 120 kayakers on the creek from 8:30am to 1pm. They have obtained an aquatic licence from Transport NSW and will have SES boats in place for the event.

We ask that all rowers are out of the creek by 8:30am or avoid the creek on Saturday 2nd September to allow this event to run smoothly.
