Lake Macquarie Rowing Club, originally called Hunter Rowing Club, has been providing rowing facilities and promoting the sport of rowing in the Newcastle NSW region since 1987.
Being a member means a lot more than just rowing. Members must contribute to the social, recreational, sporting and competitive networks of the club in various ways:
- Voluntary coaching
- Voluntary coxing
- Leading squads
- Driving our trailer to regattas
- Committee membership
- Participating in organising social functions and fundraisers
Lake Macquarie Rowing Club operates all year round from our club house on the northern shores of Lake Macquarie near Teralba Amatuer Sailing Club, the Lake Macquarie Art Gallery and Awaba House. Please refer to the map below.
